WHAT WE DO

At Avion, we design, build and operate hybrid, autonomous, vertical takeoff and landing UAVs to transport vaccination and medicine weighing 5 kg from our nodes to destinations as far as 150 km radius.​

We design and set up distribution nodes with minimal infrastructure (small storage space for inventory, charging and fueling station, minor maintenance toolkit, flight monitoring computers, takeoff and landing pad, order processing and order fulfillment area with cheap and easy to set up physical structure)
PROBLEM
More than 2.5 billion people (about 40 % of the world’s population) live in rural and remote areas in developing countries where conventional mode of logistics and transportation is far from ideal.
Only a third of Africans live within two kilometers of a road that functions year-round.
Even in developed countries, disasters, such as earthquakes and fires, can render roads inaccessible.
